BNSF Chillicothe Subdivision

General Information This large layout replicates present day BNSF operations between Chicago and Ft. Madison, IA.  Operations are very busy, fast paced, prototypic operation, paralleling the actual volume of trains that operate over the real Chilli Sub.  Scenery on the railroad is 100% complete.  Method of operation is Rule 261, utilizing CTC, as well as physical interchanging of cars with seven area railroads.  The schedule will consist of approximately 30+ trains and requires one Dispatcher, one Tower Operator, one Yardmaster, and ten crews for a variety of freight, intermodal, coal, grain, and local service.  
The railroad has been featured in several Model Railroader magazines.
